I am young girl who suffered with OCD. After being referred to 3 different therapists I felt as though nothing was working and after over a year I knew Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) wasn’t for me. 

As time passed by I felt hopeless and felt like there was no way out, I was heartbroken because deep down I knew how badly I wanted to break the routines but I just couldn’t and I felt so disappointed within myself for not being able to do so. 

We heard of Karen through a mutual friend who was familiar with her work and couldn’t say enough positive things about her. 

We travelled to see Karen and I was feeling quite nervous on the way to see her but as soon as I stepped into the building and met Karen for the first time I felt so relaxed and at ease due to her kind and lovely nature. I used to be on edge during CBT however, I felt the opposite this time.

I absolutely loved it, it made me feel so peaceful and at ease every time I sat in the chair. My worries and troubles were put into perspective. Gradually over time I began to break my routines. Even the ones I never could’ve dreamed of breaking. I owe so much of that to Karen and I genuinely believe I could never have done it without her.


Karen gave me the confidence to believe in myself and made me believe that I could break these routines, something which I didn’t receive from therapists in the past. She is truly an amazing person and I can’t thank her enough for all she has done. I couldn’t recommend Karen enough to anyone who is thinking about hypnotherapy it truly changed my life for the better and I wouldn’t be where I am today without hypnotherapy and, Karen.

 I enjoyed a full course with Karen. 
 
I have mental health issues and was a smoker and generally living a very unhealthy lifestyle. I was very sedentary and my self esteem was extremely low and deep seated. I had no will to live. I didn’t think I was worthy or deserving of life and on some level I was living in such a way that could be interpreted as a protracted suicide. 

I was not sure what exactly to expect although I did have some preconceived ideas which turned out to be totally wrong. I can not articulate the difference Karen has made to my life. I have begun to look forward for the first time in decades. I quit smoking having smoked for almost 35 years. I lost 20kg. I started to exercise regularly and eating healthy. I got a job then I got another job and another. Things just started to go really well and they haven’t stopped. With all that, being so busy, I didn’t even notice the change in my self esteem and the fact that I started to make plans for my future. 

I listened to Karen without judgement and followed her advice almost completely. I worked on and addressed my mental and physical health in incremental stages as to not overwhelm me and it worked. It worked way beyond my expectations and it continues to work. I have walked away with some invaluable tools and come to some conclusions about myself that have changed my life. I would recommend Karen to anyone. I can’t praise her high enough for the effects and affect she has had on my life.
